A romantic Dutch wedding in the heart of Tuscany, with a Vespa, golden light, and vineyard views
In early July last year, I had the honor of photographing a beautiful and intimate wedding in Tuscany. A Dutch couple chose to celebrate their Festa dell’Amore—”Celebration of Love”—at the stunning estate of Corzano e Paterno, surrounded by rolling hills, olive groves, and endless rows of vineyards.
The day began with the couple getting ready in the peaceful atmosphere of the Tuscan countryside. The soft morning light and rustic charm of the venue set the tone for a relaxed and emotional day.
The highlight? The bride and groom arrived at the ceremony riding a Vespa, making a memorable entrance as they passed through their small group of guests. It was fun, unexpected, and full of personality—perfectly reflecting the spirit of their day.
The symbolic ceremony took place beneath a large tree nestled between the vines, creating a deeply romantic and natural setting. The atmosphere was calm, heartfelt, and beautifully intimate—just the way they wanted it.
Tuscany, with its golden light and breathtaking landscapes, embraced us all. As a photographer, I couldn’t have asked for a better frame: the soft afternoon glow, the earthy colors of the countryside, and the emotional energy of the day came together in a perfect balance.
This truly was an intimate wedding in Tuscany—a day filled with joy, authenticity, and love. Capturing these moments was a privilege I won’t soon forget.
